Each year the Fairgrounds requests a health Ith and safety matching -funds grant for various
projects around the Fairgrounds. Prior projects have 'included the Centerfield lighting, Rodeo
lighting and south field lighting.
We would like to continue our lighting upgrades at the Fairgrounds with the installation of
lighting for the Practice arena -and areas from green gate to whitegate, lighting up horse
pavilions, pens adjacent to the Harwood and the north end of the rodeo grounds where it is
typically very dark the evenings of Fair and rodeo.
I am requesting authorization to submit a requestfor a grant to the- , r
