BY AND BETWEEEN MARIO AND CINDY PADILLA, AS LESSORS, AND
NEW HOPE DONTESTIC VIOLENCE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT SERVICES, AS
THE LESSEE,
Lessor and Lessee mutually agree to amend the aforementioned lease by adding
paragraph 30 as follows:
30. Security -Deposit., Lessee shall tender the sum of Two Thousand Seven
'Hundred and 00/1.00 Dollars ($2,700.00), as a Security Deposit for the performance of Lessee's
obligations hereunder. Lessee hereby agrees, acknowledges and understands that all or a portion

of the Security Deposit may be retained by the Lessor upon termination of the tenancy and/or
that a refund or any portion. of the Security Deposit to the Lessee is conditioned as -follows:
(1) Lessee shall have complied with all of the conditions of this Rental Agreexnent,
(2) Lessee shall clean and restore Premises to its condition at the comnitmeel-ment of
this tenancy, less wear and tear from normal usavre.

(3) Lessee shall replace or repair any Missing or damaged personal property provide.d
by the Lessor, including keys. Within fourteen (1.4) days after the ten.nination of the tenancy and

vacation of the -Premises, the Lessor shall mail to the Lessee, at such address as specificall-y set
out herein, a full and specific statement on the basis for retention of any or all of the Security
Deposit, together with payment of any refund due to the Lessee.
