This Memorandum of Understanding'is entered into by and be-tween the Grant County Public
Employees Association, representing the recognized eo y ees of the Renew -Adm
in Services Unit,
Public Works Unlit, and. Youth. Services Unit, hereinafter referred to as the" Union", and Grant County,
Washington, hereinafter referred to as the 'VEmployer IT
A ratff'led collective bargaining agreement has not been reached with three, bar gai ning unit,
represented by the Grant County Public E m'ploy e -e s- Associ.tion k Renew -Admin Services ni , Public
Works Unit, and Youth Services Unit. The mi.clams ion -of an addlitional. holiday observed for Jun to .t.
(June 1911, of each year) requires bargained agreement and the necessary process has not yet occurred.
The parties agree to allow the members of the. Renew -Admin Services Unit, Public Works Unit, and
Youth Services Unit in active employ m-ent as of June 20, 2022, shall be entitled to one :additional holiday
celebrating funeteenth and occurringJune 20,. 20221, All rules and
practicesinvolved in granting
and/or paying holidaysWill remain 'in place.
This agreement impacts only the e r 2022, Members of theserguniaining its shall not be entitled to

subsequent occurrences of funeteenth until ratified collected bargaining ag eements haVe been
reached.
