Home My WebLink AboutResolution 22-053-CCBOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS Grant County, Washington RESOLUTION No. 22- OJ -CC WHEREAS, the following Grant County funds do not have an adequate level of budget for the following expenses: • Sheriff s Office (121.163) in the amount of $75,521.12 to purchase qty. 55 —14" Panasonic Toughbook computers for their vehicles. Technology Services will purchase the units and have agreed to pay $194,880.-00. The Sheriff s Office is requesting the balance be paid from Law and Justice Funds. • Sheriffs Office (118.195) in the amount of $6,567.29 to purchase a 2016 Chevrolet Tahoe that will be utilized as the primary backup K9 vehicle. • Coroner's Office (001.120) in the amount of $9,111.21 to purchase lighting for the new Coroner's vehicle. If approved, ABPA funding will be transferred and used. WHEREAS, these additional budget expenditures were not anticipated when preparing the 2022 budget; and WHEREAS, in accordance with RCW 36.40.140 a public hearing, must be held to authorize additional budget appropriations. WHEREAS, on the 17th day of May 2022 at 3:25 p.m., a public hearing was held in the Grant County Commissioners' Hearing Room. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that a budget appropriation in the total amount of $91,199.62 to be allocated to the 2022 budget according to the following schedule of categories and items: APPROPRIATIONS &FINANCING SOURCES (See Attached) PASSED AND ADOPTED this day of , 2022.
