Operational Procedures � Description ofServices: Educational Advocates and Grant County JuverHkePn6bad6nag"'6 6�- he services provdedtoyouth. Consideration: Though ESD 105 is providing ed ucationa I services, no fiscal consideration between ESD lO5and Grant County Juvenile Probation |srequired orcontained herein. General Provisions '- - Licensing: ESO 105 agrees that any and all individuals assigned as Educational Advocates to Grant County Juvenile Probation shall be licensed, certified, and/or accredited in compliance with all applicable federal, state, county and municipal ordinances and statutes. ' Safeguarding Client Information: The ESD agrees that there will be no disclosure of confidential information. Communication: Communication between ESID 105 and Grant County Juvenile Probation shall be regular and ongoing. Administrators and/or staff will be included in meetings for evaluating the work and outcomes ofthe program. Selection ofPersonnel: ESO1O5shall provide the Educational Advocates towork |nGrant County ' Juvenile Probation. All individuals employed byESID 1D5shall undergo screening, security checks, and background investigations as deemed appropriate for any employee of the ESID. All individuals employed by ESID 105 shall comply with the provisions of 13.40.570 RCW (Sexual misconduct by state employees, contractors) which states that when DSHS Secretary has reasona.ble cause tobelieve that sexual intercourse orsexual contact between the employee ofacontractor and an offender has occurred, the Secretary shall require the employee of a contractor to be immediately removed from any employment position which would permit the employee to -have any a ccess: to any |naddition, the OSHS Secretary shall disqualify any person from working under this Agreement, and �- Grant County ]uvenUeProba�onshaUnot assign any ennp\oyeetowork pursuant tothis Agree m�nff that person has access to an offender: |sfound bvthe department, based onapreponderance ofthe evidence, to have had sexual or sexual contact with the offender; or Was convicted of any crime specified in chapter 9A.44 RCW (Sex Offenses) when the victim was an offender. Facilities: Grant County Juvenile Probation shall permit Education Advocates 1omeet with youth on campus. Hold Harmless: Each party will be liable for their own acts or omissions and those of its officers, employees, and agents. Noparty tothis agreement shall beresponsible for the acts oromissions of entities orindividuals not aparty tothe agreement. Modification and Termination: Any and all amendments must bemade inwriting and must beagreed to and executed by the parties before becoming effective. Either party may serve written notice of termination within 30 calendar days from the date of service notice, and the other parties will have 30 calendar days to complete any business with the other parties.
