Good evening Grant County Board of Health present members and potential members and alternates,
I have a few short updates for all of you.

with the final decisions of the Commissioners. The Commissioners have not set a date for appointing the community
members to the board of health but will do so in the coming weeks. I have asked that they please let me know when the
appointments are added to their agenda so that I can share that information with all of you. The following community

We have also been working on a plan for the Tribal seat appointment. The commissioners are drafting a letter to the
Indian Health Commission and Colville Tribe requesting a tribal representative to join the board of health and requesting
if they choose to not fill the seat at this time to please inform the commissioners so that they may appoint one of the
citizen alternates to the board. We continue to recruit for the consumers of public health seat. ,
Thank you for your patience as we navigate the changes to our board structure.
