This Change No. 5 to Amendment Eight extends the schedule through June 30, 2022, extends services, and adds
budget.
INTRODUCTION
Amendment Eight took effect on August 31, 2019, to provide engineering services and support for additional
remedial investigation (RI; Phase 1) and develop the workplan for additional pilot testing of remedial alternatives
(Phase 2 Workplan). Scope and budget have been added and the schedule extended through four prior changes:
• Change No. 1 added to the scope, added $387,970 to the budget, extended the schedule through
May 28, 2021, and temporarily reduced Parametrix's labor multiplier.
• Change No. 2 extended services, added $75,000 to the budget, and extended the schedule through
July 30, 2021.
• Change No. 3 extended services, added $85,000 to the budget, and extended the schedule through
December 31, 2021, including two minor schedule extensions.
• Change No. 4 extended services, added $80,000 to the budget, and extended the schedule through
April 30, 2022, including one minor schedule extension.
Change No. 5 is needed to cover costs during schedule extensions because Phase 1 Report and draft Phase 2
Workplan comment resolution has been extended.
Change No. 5 excludes the following services:
• Dispute resolution
• Feasibility study completion, including additional pilot testing
Dispute resolution services, if needed, will be provided under a separate agreement. Feasibility study completion
and additional pilot testing will be added to Amendment Eight as a future task.
