We are writing in support of the City of Moses Lake'

infrastructure, and operate the Open Doors Sleep Center.
The City has been working diligent) to address t - •

Grant County and has recognized the need for enhanced
services and facilities for the homeless
population. In December 2020, the Cit began operating

homeless community a place to Slee at night in •
p g a secure and stable environment. This facilit
also provides mental health and substance use c Y
counseling services, affordable housing
resources, employment opportunities, hygiene facilities,

essential services. Grant County has helped fund the Sleep Center through COVID reliefrant
dollars, which are limited. While the source of theseg
funds will end, the Sleep Center will
continue to operate to meet the housing needs of Grant County's homeless.
Providing a permanent location for the Slee Center, ' ' ' •
