The Commissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing to consider the surplus of Parcel No. 170928002
for sale to the United States Bureau of Reclamation located in S 14, T 20 N, R 28 E WM, formerly known
as the Gloyd Drop Box.
Sam Castro, Public Works Director gave a brief synopsis of the surplus and the intent to sell the property
to the United States Bureau of Reclamation (USBR) for the amount of $46.,165.00.
A motion was made by Commissioner Jones, seconded by Commissioner Stone, to close the public
comment portion of the hearing. The motion passed unanimously. A motion was made by
Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Jones to approve the surplus as presented. The
motion passed unanimously.
