Three individuals were hire-d into the Position of "Corrections Officer V' in the later Part of 2021, At year end it w -as discovered th-at all three had failed to use the floating holiday p kovided under the A 11 * current bargairdng agreement. Normally, unused floating iioudays are lost forever bu this M instance., NAie are seeing a. pattern that needs to be addressed, If three new employee s did not take their floating holiday, tben we feel -that it is most likely because the Employer did not adequately inform. them of the benefit. To correct this issue the County is proposing a one-time non- dent -setting agreement reement to provide preced the employees listed below access to their 2021 floating horiday h-1 2022. In effect, for 2022 they ikqll have use of two (2) floating noudays.
