Commissioners,

am requesting a one-month temporary exception to the receipt yment process for
Grant County. I spoke with Madeline Prentice regarding this matter and she agrees with this
temporary exception request. The request is to process the Burke Media invoice as normal with
the requirement that all supporting documents be submitted prior to February 16, 2022 (the
next Tourism Meeting) or no further payments will be processed.
This exception is a direct result of the changing of the process for the LTAC Grants. As of
January 1, 2022, the Grant County Tourism must process their claims for reimbursement just as
other LTAC Grant recipients — meaning this is a reimbursement. Historically, the Tourism
Commission has paid the invoices based off Burke Media invoice as he was the contracted
organization. Now - invoices, tear -sheets, etc. must be turned in with the claim for
reimbursement and be verified prior to processing.
Thank you for your consideration on this matter.
