GRANT COUNTY TREASURER- F
RE: 2019 ASSESSMENTS FOR TURNKEY LIGHTING DISTRICT
In reviewing the cash balances for the Turnkey Lighting
District, I find their cash balance at yearend to be more than
adequate. The original resolution stated that no new assessment
will be prepared unless there is an increase or decrease in the
annual anticipated lighting costs submitted by the Grant County
PUD. The past years assessment rate was not changed and stayed
($24.00) per parcel due to not turning the request letter to
your office to decrease the assessment rate for 2018. With the
anticipated carryover going into 2019 to be more than adequate,
I can lower the rate to reduce the excessive cash reserve to a
lower carryover reserve going into 2020. With this change to
the monthly bill for 2019, we need to decrease the assessment
from ($24.00) in 2018 to ($19.00) in 2019 which includes the
county's administration fee.
