WHEREAS, Grant County, Washington, has received a petition to vacate portions of
certain County road and rights -of -way described as follows:
Legal description; T NE 43810 mp 1.05 to mp 2.0 less 4 NE right-of-way in Sections 16 &
17 T19N R30EWM, and
WHERE AS, a notice of hearing on the report for vacation and abandonment was published
in the County official newspaper at least once a week for two consecutive weeks preceding the date
fixed for the hearing; and a copy of said notice was posted for at least twenty days preceding the date
fixed for hearing at each termini of the county road or portion thereof to be vacated or abandoned,
and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners did consider the report given by the
County goad Engineer, together with any evidence for or objection against said vacation and
abandonment; and

WHEREAS, the above described County right-of-way is not useful as part of the County
road system and the public will be benefitted by the vacation and abandonment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the Grant County Board
of Commissioners, APPROVE: VACATING all interest in the County road and right-of-way as
described above; EXCEPT any existing easement to accommodate existing power lines;
communications lines and other franchised and/or permitted public and private utilities.
VACATION is only valid with accompanying dedication from Friehe Farms of the cul-de-sac
outside of the existing rights -of -way. Vacation will not be filed until dedication is recorded.

establishment of a county road, hereby conveys a perpetual right-of-way and easement
to Survey, construct, and maintain a public thoroughfare and Public Utilides over, under,

STRIP BEING 60 FEET IN WIDTH, 30 FEET EACH SIDE, MEASURED PERPENDICULAR,
OF THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED CENTERLINE AND ITS PROJECTION:
BEGINNING AT A BRASS CAP MONUMENT MAR4QNG THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF
SAID SECTION 17, FROM WHICH, THE QUARTER CORNER COMMON TO SAID
