RESOLUTION VACATING A.5 NW RESOLUTION No. 17- /0 1-CC
Rights -of -way in the NW 1/4 of Section 35
T21N R26EWM
WHEREAS, Grant County, Washington, has received a petition to vacate portions of
certain County road and rights -of -way described as follows:
Legal description: Unbuilt Future County Rights -of -way as shown and dedicated in the
Pam Corzine short plat, AFN 1276435; in the NW % of Section 35 T21N R26EWM, all in
Grant County, and
AS SHOWN on ATTACHED EXHIBIT A, and
WHEREAS, a notice of hearing on the report for vacation and abandonment was published
in the County official newspaper at least once a week for two consecutive weeks preceding the date
fixed for the hearing; and a copy of said notice was posted for at least twenty days preceding the date
fixed for hearing at each termini of the county road or portion thereof to be vacated or abandoned;
and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners did consider the report given by the
County Road Engineer, together with any evidence for or objection against said vacation and
abandonment; and

WHEREAS, the above described County right-of-way is not useful as part of the County
road system and the public will be benefitted by the vacation and abandonment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the Grant County Board
of Commissioners, APPROVE: VACATING all interest in the County road right-of-way as
described above; EXCEPT any existing easements, easements to accommodate existing power lines,
communications lines, and other franchised and/or permitted public and private utilities.
