Week of October 17,1994
The Grant County Commissioners session was called to order at 9:00 a.m.
Commissioner Snead and Commissioner Allison were in attendance with the Clerk of the
Board. Commissioner Fancher was not in attendance.
The Commissioners read and approved the minutes of the preceding session as
written.
The Commissioners notified the Liquor Control Board that they had no problem
with the special occasion liquor license application of Columbia Basin Stars Baseball
Organization.
The Commissioners were notified of the extension of probationary period for
employee Terri Soltero of the Grant county Alcohol and Drug Center.
The Commissioners received a letter from the City of Moses Lake regarding
Centralized Dispatch and Enhanced 9-1-1.
The Commissioners signed an investment services agreement with the Grant
County Housing Authority.
The Commissioners approved a Request for Transfer of funds within the Grant
County Health District Budget in the amount of $20,000.
A motion was made by Commissioner Allison, seconded by Commissioner Snead
that Resolution Number 94 -117 -CC setting a public hearing for October 31,1994 at 1:30
p.m. relating to the facts requiring an appropriation and expenditure of funds for the
Current Expense Fund #001, Prosecuting Attorney Department #109 in the amount of
$1,500 be passed. The motion carried.
As there was no further business the session was continued until October
18,1994.

The session was continued at 9:00 a.m. with Commissioner Snead and
Commissioner Allison in attendance with the Clerk of the Board.
The Commissioners met with the Public Works Director regarding Bid Award
Recommendation -Recycling Pads, Underground Tanks -Financial Statement, RAP Project
List.
The Commissioners were notified that Bridge No. 358 was built in accordance with
the plans and specifications, and that all materials incorporated into the project met
contract specifications.
The Commissioners approved the Public Works recommendation and awarded
the bid for the construction of five recycling pads to J.E.M. Construction for a total bid
amount of $13,625.53.
As of this date the Board by a majority vote does approve for payment those
vouchers included in the list filed in the Auditors Office 10/18/94 in the total amount of
$387,095.70.
A Public Hearing was held and a motion was\made by Commissioner Allison,
seconded by Commissioner Snead that Resolution Number 94 -117A -CC authorizing an
appropriation and expenditure of funds for the Employee Benefit Fund 41504, Depart-
ment #183 in the amount of $366,400 be passed. The motion carried.
The Commissioners received a request for road cost share project from Russell
Crook of Mattawa.
The Commissioners met with a group regarding the Juniper Ridge Group Home
closure.
As there was no further business the session was adjourned until October
24,1994.

an appropriation and expenditure of funds for the Current Expense Fund #001,
Wear -it Department 4134 in the amount: of $14,200 be passed. The motion carried.
