RESOLUTION NO. 95-170—CC
RESOLUTION DENYING AN
AMENDMENT TO THE COMPRE-
HENSIVE PLAN OF GRANT COUNTY
EMMETTHATHCOX
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County have been advised by the
Grant County Planning Commission that a public hearing was conducted on November 1, 1995 on the matter of
changing the zoning from Agriculture to Suburban -2 in a portion of the West half of Section 14, Township 16
North, Range 26 East, W.M. and;
WHEREAS, the Grant County Planning Commission made a motion for a recommendation to
deny the proposed zone change; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners having received a recommendation for denial
have set a public meeting for this proposal on November 27, 1995; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have upheld the finding of the Planning
Commission which found that the zone change would constitute a spot zone.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have upheld the finding of the Planning
Commission that the zone change proposal is not consistent with the surrounding land use.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners for Grant
County, Washington deny by this Resolution, a zone change for the followlhg described property:
Lot 8, Crook Estates as filed in Book 11 of Plats, Page 54, records of Grant County, Washington in a
portion of Section 14, Township 16 North, Range 26 East, W.M., Grant County, Washington.
