Week of January 1,1996
The Session was called to order at 9:00 a.m. on January 2,1996 by Chairman Tim
Snead. All of the Commissioners were in attendance with the Clerk of the Board.
The Commissioners read and approved the minutes of the preceding session as
written.
The Commissioners met with the Public Works Director regarding request for
proposals-HHW Collection Events, SWAC Membership, Shop/Office Plans.
The Commissioners signed the Authorization to Call for Proposal set for January
16,1996 at 10:30 a.m. regarding Hazardous Waste Collection and Disposal.
The Commissioners approved the following capital outlay requests from Grant
County District Court to be paid from the Law and Justice Fund:
Shelving Unit for Open Filing System -$800.00
3 Personal Computers with Discis Access -$6000.00
1 Discis Printer -$1500.00
1 Minolta Copy Machine -$5,514
1 Lanier Court Recorder -$3,142
The Commissioners approved the request by the Emergency Management
Department for the purchase of a Hewlett Packard Model HPSP Laser Printer.
The Commissioners approved the purchase of a fax machine in the amount of
$1,016 from Law and Justice Funds for the Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
The Commissioners approved the request by the County Clerk for the amount of
$23,274.45 from Law and Justice Funds for the second phase of Office Computers and
monitors.
The Commissioners signed the December payroll warrants list #75262 through
#75753.
As of this date the Board by a majority vote does approve for payment those
vouchers included in the list filed in the Auditors Office 12/29/95 in the total amount of
$133,101.33.
As of this date the Board by a majority vote does approve for payment those
vouchers included in the list filed in the Auditors Office 1/2/96 in the total amount of
$75,382.95.
As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was
continued until January 5,1996.
January 5,1996
The session was continued at 10:00 a.m. with Chairman Snead and Commissioner
Allison in attendance with the Clerk of the Board. Commissioner Fancher was attending
meetings out of the area.
Chairman Snead was authorized to sign',,the Intergovernmental Agreement
between the United States Department of Energy and Grant County regarding Payment
In Lieu of Taxes on the Hanford lands.
As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was
adjourned until January 8,1996.
