The Grant County Commissioners session began at 8:30 a.m. with all Commissioners in attendance.
8:30 a.m.—9:00 a.m. Elected Official Roundtable Meeting
9:00 a.m.—9:45 a.m. J Strickler, ASC Update and Misc BOCC Action
A motion was made by Commissioner Stevens, seconded by Commissioner Taylor,to approve items 2
through 6 on the agenda as presented. The motion passed unanimously.
1. Possible vouchers for insurance, legal services,grant administration, etc.
2. Grant County Board of Commissioners Professional Services Agreement for the 2017 Fairground
Bleacher Replacement Project (No, 16258SA) between Grant County and Pacific Engineering &
Design, PLLC with scope of work options as delineated in the County's Request for Qualifications
on the project. Term is from date of final signature to project completion. (Approved)
3. Gorge Amphitheater Alcohol Operating Plan, May 2017, between Grant County, by and through
the Grant County Sheriff's Office, and Legends Music, LLC and Live Nation Worldwide, Inc. Term
is May 22, 2017 through December 31, 2017. (Approved)
4. Reimbursement Request(A-19)for contract worl<performed by Grant County, by and through
Grant Integrated Services' Prevention And Recovery Center(PARC), during February of 2017 on
Washington State Department of Social & Health Services' Division of Behavioral Health and d
Recovery Contract No. 1563-42476 in the amount of$7,044.06. (Approved)
5. Reimbursement Request(A-19)for contract work performed by Grant County, by and through
Grant Integrated Services' Prevention And Recovery Center (PARC), during March of 2017 on �
Washington State Department of Social & Health Services' Division of Behavioral Health and
Recovery Contrac't No. 1563-42476 in the amount of$9,735.92. (Approved) I
6. Authorization for release of BOCC approved funds on Strategic Infrastructure Program (SIP)
#2016-10, Port of Royal Slope, Waterline Extension North to Short Plat in the amount of a
$50,000 grant and the 2.5%Administrative Fee of the project in the amount of$1,250 to the �
Grant County Economic Development Council. (Approved) '

1. Local Agency Agreement between Grant County and Washington State Department of
Transportation for Beverly Burke Road Overlay to resurface existing HMA pavement with a Hot
Mix Asphalt overlay, shoulder finishing,guardrail,traffic control and other work. (Approved)
2. Execution of Contracts for the Mattawa Shop project with Halme Builders of Davenport,WA for
the amount of$441,500.00. (Approved)
1:30 p.m.—1:40 p.m. Bid Opening, 9-NW Road Reconstruction Project, CRP 16-05
The following bids were received:
• North Central Construction $1,032,612,77
• Tommer Construction $825,300.00
• Advanced Excavation $892,054.00
• Advantage Dirt Contractors $1,156,002.82
A motion was made by Commissioner Stevens, seconded by Commissioner Carter,to turn the bids
over to Public Works for review and recommendation. The motion passed with 2 Commissioners in
attendance.

8. Request to close the Dental Insurance Fund#507 and the Vision Insurance Fund#505 and �
transfer any remaining balance to the Interfund Benefit Fund#505. Also, request to change the i
procedures for handling the medical, dental, and vision premiums for employees that go out on
leave without pay. Accounting would like to deduct the employee's portion of the premium ';

9. Request to increase their petty cash Fund#101, Department#104 from $750.00 to $950.00 to '
