IN THE MATTER OF APPROVING A
REQUEST TO AMEND THE PLANNED
UNIT DEVELOPMENT FOR THE
QUINCY VALLEY GOLF COURSE TO
ALLOW THE PLACEMENT OF
MODULAR HOMES ON
RECREATIONAL VEHICLE LOTS
RESOLUTION NO. 96 -85 -CC
RESOLUTION AMENDING THE
COUNTY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
AND OFFICIAL ZONING MAP

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County have been
advised by the Grant County Planning Commission that a public hearing was conducted on
May 1, 1996 on the matter of recommending approval of the amendment to the Planned Unit
Development to allow the placement of modular type homes (800 square feet maximum) on
Recreational Vehicle Lots in the Quincy Valley Golf and Park Model Park located in a portion
of Section 7, Township 19 North, Range 24 East, W.M., Grant County and ;
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County have held a
public meeting on June 4, 1996 to consider the matter of upholding the decision and findings
of the Grant County Planning Commission.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners found that the amendment to
the Quincy Valley Golf and Park Model Park Planned Unit Development is consistent with the
Comprehensive plan of Grant County.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have found that the proponent
did present sufficient evidence that a need exists in the area for the change in use of the
recreational park from Park Model Recreational Vehicles to Modular Homes.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have found that the proposal
is consistent with the Grant County Zoning Ordinance.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of County
Commissioners for Grant County, Washington, does, by this Resolution, amend the Grant
County Comprehensive Plan, Official Zoning Map for Grant County and the Planned Unit
Development of Quincy Valley Golf and Park Model Recreational Vehicle Park to the effect
that the following described property shall henceforth be amended to allow the placemetn of
Modular homes:
Farm Units 59 and 60, Irrigation Block 75; Columbia Basin Irrigation Project in the
North half of Section 7, Township 19 North, Range 24 East, W.M., Grant County,
Washington.
