GRANT COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
MONDAY, MAY 8, 2017
The Grant County Commissioners session began at 8:30 a.m, with Commissioners Carter and Stevens in
attendance. Commissioner Taylor is out and excused.

A motion was made by Commissioner Stevens, seconded by Commissioner Carter,to approve items 3
through 6 and 8 on the agenda as presented. Item 2 was not ready for signature and item 7 was a
duplicate of item 2. The motion passed with 2 Commissioners in attendance.

Rodeo Bleacher Replacement Contract between Grant County and Pacific Engineering& Design,

3. Addendum to Commercial Lease Agreement dated April 21, 2017, by and between Mario and
Cindy Padilla,As Lessors, and New Hope Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services,As the
Lessee (Grant County). This addendum adds paragraph 30 regarding a Security Deposit.

4. Contract between Grant County and Tommer Construction Company Incorporated for sidewall<
replacement and full scope of work as detailed in Grant County's Request for Bids for the project
located between the County's Law&Justice Building and the Courthouse Annex Building at the
Courthouse complex in Ephrata, Washington in the amount of$92,340.00, (Approved)
5. Application and/or Application Forms for BOCC Chair signature to accompany New Hope '
Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services renewal application for the Crime Victims Service '
Center for FY18, in the amount of$115,408 for the provision of advocacy and outreach services �

Fair for ticketing system and supporting services for the sale of tickets and redemption of
tickets. Term is from 05/08/2017 to 05/08/2018 with automatic renewals limited to a maximum
of two successive years (or 05/08/2019) with provision for earlier termination. (Approved)

A motion was made by Commissioner Stevens, seconded by Commissioner Carter,to close the i

Extensions
The Commissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing to consider the following budget extension
requests:
1. Facilities and Maintenance Fund#001, Department#112, in the amount of$26,492.43 for the
purchase of the new Dodge Grand Caravan that was purchased through Public Worl<s in 2016.
