Home My WebLink AboutResolution 97-193-CCGRANT COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS Granfi County, Washingfion ORDINANCE NO. 97-193-CC RESOLUTION NO. 97-193-CC AMENDING SECTION 24.04.050 OF THE GRANT COUNTY CODE RELATING TO THE DESIGNATION OF THE SEPA RESPONSIBLE OFFICIAL, AND OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATING THERETO. BE IT ORDAINED: Section 1. Section 24.04.050 of fihe Grant County Code, adopted by Resolution No. 95-60-CC (Ordinance No. 95-60-CC) on May 15, 1995, is hereby amended to read as fol lows: (a) For those proposals for which fihe County is the lead agency, the responsible official shall be the Grant County Director of the Current Planning Deparfimen� or his/her designee. (b) For all proposals for which the County is fihe lead agency, fihe responsible official shall make the fihreshold de�ermination, supervise scoping and prepara�ion ofany required environmental impactstafiemen� (EIS), and perform any other functions assigned to the "lead agency" or "responsible official" by those sections of the SEPA rules that were adopted by reference in WAC 173- 806-020. (c) For �hose proposals requiring specialized expertise, the responsible official may requesfi information necessary fio discharge his/her responsibilities under this chapter from, bufi nofi limited to, other Departments, other agencies with jurisdicfiion, and/or a technical advisory commitfiee designa�ed by the legislative aufihority of the County. Such information as can be reasonably supplied by those Departmenfis, other agencies and the technical advisory committee, shall be transmitfied to the responsible official in a�imely manner. A public hearing was held on fihe above ordinance at 1:30 o'clock pm on fihe 25th day of November, 1997.
