RESOLUTION APPROVING
A PLAT ALTERATION

WHEREAS, the Board of Counry Commissioners of Grant County have been advised
by the Grant County Planning Commission that a public hearing was conducted on October 1, 1997 on
the matter of altering Lot 9, Block 1, Parker Spring Acres Division 2, located in a portion of Farm Unit
49, Irrigation Block 41, Columbia Basin Project, in the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of
Secrion 12, Township 19 North, Range 28 East, W.M., Grant County, Washington.
WHEREAS, the Grant Counry Plauning Commission made a recommendarion to
approve the alteration of lot number nine (9) with conditions, which is currently one (1) acre in size.
The Plat Alteration request proposed to add appro�imately five (5) acres to the existing lot. The resultant
lot will be approximately 6A1 acres in size.
WHEREAS, the Grant Counry Board of Commissioners held a public meeting on
October 28, 1997 and,
W�REAS, the Board of County Commissioners have upheld the findings and
conditions of the Planning Commission.
WHEREAS, the Board of Counry Commissioners have found that the proposal is
consistent with the Grant County Comprehensive Plan.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have found that the public use and
interest will apparently be served by the plat alteration.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Co�uuissioners have found that the proposal will not
adversely effect the health, safety, and general welfare of the public in the vicinity of the proposal.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have found that the Plat Alteration is
within a priority habitat area and wetland area as defined by the Grant Counry Resource Lands and
Crirical Areas Ordinance and associated maps.
WHEREAS, the Board of Counry Commissioners have found that the Plat Alteration
should be governed by the following two (2) conditions of approval.
', NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners
for Grant County, Washington approve by this Resolution, a plat alteration of I,ot 9, Block 1, Parker
Spring Acres Division 2 in the Sonthwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 12, Township 19
North, Range 28 East, W.M., Grant County, Washington.
The plat alteration is approved subject to the following condirions.
1. The proposal will comply with the req�ements of RCW 58.17.215 which includes, but is not
limited to the provision that any outstanding assessments shall be equitably divided and levied against
the remaining lots, parcels, tracts, or be levied equitably on the lots resulting from the alteration.

2. Developer shall comply with the recommendation of the Washington State Department of Ecology
including, but not limited to the following:
On the face of the plat filed with the Grant County Auditor's Office, the wefland boundary shall
be shown and labeled, "Approximate wetIand boundary. Any future proposed development
actavitg� will require a�vetlancl delineation and review of that delineation by appropriate
agencies."
