Week of April 28,'1997
The Grant County Commissioners session was called to order at
9:00 a.m. by Chairman LeRoy C. Allison. All of the Commissioners
were in attendance with the Clerk of the Board.
The Commissioners read and approved the minutes of the
preceding session as written.
The C�mmissioners received a signed copy of Form Amendment
No. 5 between the North Central Washington Regional Support Netwark
and Grant County.
The Commissioners approved the request by �he Grant County
Treasurer for the purchase of two system printers.
The Commissioners approved the request by the Grant County
Historical IlAuseum to transfer funds from their M�scetlaneous account
to their Repair-IVlaintenance account.
The Comr�issioners approved the requestallowing Gwen Palmer's
position to be a four day a week position rather than a three day. This
will be effec�ive May 1,1997.
The Commissioners were notified by the County Clerk that during
the period of April 28 through May �,1997 Marcia Bush would be in
charge of the Clerks Office since he and other staff will be out of town
attending Superior Court Administrators/County Clerks Spring
Conference.
Superior Court Judge Sperline discussed accrued sick leave days
for Court G�mmissioner Brown.
A mo$ion was made by Commissioner Fancher, seconded by
Commissio�erSnead that Resolution Number97-63-CC adopting NACO
Board of Direc#ors Resolution regarding the Environmental Protection
Agency rega�lation on particulate matter be passed. The motion carried.
The Cmmmissioners set a Public Hearing for May 20, 1997 at 1:30
p.m. regarding the request for supplemental budget in the Juvenite
Department from unanticipated state/federal funds in the amount of
$11,167.
The C�mmissioners appointed Patricia Schrom to a further term
on the Grarnt Gounty Board of Equalization.
As th�re was no further business to come before the Board the
session wa� continued until April 29,1997.

�ridge �[o, 1v3, Turkey Road, Cos� Share Pr�ajects?, meei�ng v�ith ihe
H�raks on �utler Lane.
The Comr�issioners apprt�ved the request by #he Public �t►Qrks
Directar for a lump sum pay adjusiment for the fhree Rvad Supervis�rs
for the extr�ardinary wc�rk done �fter ho�rs during the long v�inier.
A matic�n was made by !Gommissioner Snead, seconded by
Commissit�ner Fancher tc� approve an exceptian to the 60 ft. right af
�va}� an the Stetn�r Short Pta� NQ. 1, atlowing a 4� ft. right of way.

month o� Apr�i.
The �ammissi�aners signed the Pub�ic VVorks Claims IFund
Voucher Approval #�4-�I thrc�ugh #4-3 6n ihe total amc�unt of $141,008.94.
