W#iEREAS, the �vard of County Cammis�ioners saf �rant County ha.ve been
advised. by the Grant County Planning Cammission that �. public hearing was condueteci an
November 6, 1996 on the matter of changing the zc�ning from "L-I {Light-Industnal)" to "S -
2(Suburban-2} in a portion af �he Sou�h haif of Section 16, Tawnsh'rp 19 North, �nge 29
East, W,M. and;
W�'KEAS, the Board of Caunty Commissioners, having sai.d ��mmendatzon,
have given notice this mattez wauld be eonsidered at their regular meeti.ng on December 2,
1996.
WHEREAS, the Board of Couniy Commissioners after review�ng the record of
the Grant County Pianning Comrnission have upheld the secammendation to deny the
application for zone change on the following described prc�perty: -
Lots 1 through 12, Blcfck iQg Plat af Wheeler in a portian of Sectian 16, Township 19
Nnrth, Rang� 29 East, W.M., Grant County, Washiz�gton.
Findings of Fact are as follows:
1. T�ie prnposal is not consistent wiih ihe Grant Cc�unty Comprehensive PIan.
2. The proponent has nnt shown that a need e�sts in �ie azea for sma1l�� acrea.ge's.
3. The progosal is a spot zone.
