A motion was made by Commissioner Stevens, seconded by Commissioner Taylor that
Commissioner Carter be elected as Chair of the Board of County Commissioners for the calendar
year 2017. The motion passed unanimously.
A motion was made by Commissioner Carter, seconded by Commissioner Taylor that
Commissioner Stevens be elected as Vice-Chair of the Board of County Commissioners for the
calendar year 2017. The motion passed unanimously.
Resolution No. 17-001-CC for the 2017 appointments of commissioners to boards and
committees.

A motion was made by Commissioner Stevens, seconded by Commissioner Taylor,to approve items 3, I'

The Commissioners wrote a letter of support for the funding requests from the Port of Quincy and the
City of George for water line and road infrastructure projects at the Port's Industrial Park No. 5 at
George, WA.
