GRANT COUNTY TREASURER '
RE: 1997 ASSESSMENTS FOR HILLCREST LIGHTING DISTRICTS
I have received from Tom Sinnard of the Grant County PUD the
estimated costs for 1997 that need to be paid and assessed on the
properties within the boundaries of the Hillcrest Lighting
District 93-1 in 1996. The original resolution stated that no new
assessment will be prepared unless there is an increase or
decrease in the annual anticipated lighting costs submitted by
the Grant County PUD. Last years assessment rate was set at
($13.00) per parcel for 1996. The anticipated carryover going
into 199 has gotten smaller and there is an l0o increase by the
PUD so we will need to increase the assessment to ($14.00) per
parcel for 1997 which also includes the county's administration
fee. The administration fee will be still be $1.00 per parcel
for 1997. Please start the hearing process to change the
assessment rate for 1997.
