The Grant County Commissioners session was called to order at
9:00 a.m. by Chairman Tim Snead. All of the Commissioners were in
attendance.
The Commissioners read and approved the minutes of the
preceding session as written.
The Cammissioners signed the 1996 Grant County Corrections
Contract amendment for wages and medical.
The Commissioners held a Public Hearing regarding the proposed
Preliminary Plat application af Charles F. Martin in the Southeast
Quarter of Section 14, Tawnship 20 North, Range 27 East,W.M. A
motion was made by Cammissioner Fancher, seconded by Commissioner
Snead to uphold the f�ndings af the Planning Commission with the
expection of 11-E. The developer will not be required to enforce
the covenant. Staff to prepare findings of fact. The motion
carried.
The Commissioners held a Public Hearing regarding the appeal
af SEPA Threshold Determination of Nonsignificance for the West
Meadows Preliminary Plat. A motion was made by Commissioner
Fancher, seconded by Commissioner Snead to take the matter under
advisement and continue the h�aring until August 5,1996 at 1:30
p.m. The motian carried.
As there was no further business to come before the Board the
session was continued until July 23,1996.
July 23,1996
The Commissioners session was continued at 9:00 a.m. with all
af the Commissioners in attenciance.
The Commissioners met with the Public Works Director regarding
10:00 a.m. meeting with Steve Hallstrom, CRP Resolution, WSDOT
Approach Agreement, Sagebrush Flats, Herman Shori Plat, Vehicle
Purchase-Coulee Dam.
A motion was made by Commissioner Fancher, seconded by
Commissioner Allison that Resolution Number 36-99-CC in the matter
of initiating County Road Project designated as CRP No. 96-22 be
passed. The motion carried.
The Commissioners signed the Commercial I�ease �greement with
Tommer Construction Company.
A Public Hearing was held regarding a proposed ordinance
adopting Grant County Board of Hea�th standards for water
availability. A motion was made by Commissioner Fancher, seconded
by Commissioner Allison that the ordinance be adopted. The motion
carried.
As of this date the Board by a ynajority vote does approve for
payment those vouchers included in the list filed in the Auditors
Office 7/22/96 in the total amount af $218,104.60.
As there was no further business to come Iaefare the Board the
session was adjourned until July 29,1996m
