WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County have been advised by the
Cur.rent Planning Division of the Grant County Community Development Department that there exists
various versions of outdated application forms requesting Preliminary Subdivision information and;
WHEREAS, the current applications request an insufficient amount of information for proper
dissemination and understanding of the request of the applicant;
WHEREAS, the revised application provides additional information in order for the Planning
Commission and Commissioners to determine if the proposed subdivision has made adequate provisions
for drainage, roads, alleys, utilities, public ways, water supplies, sanitary wastes, parks, playgrounds,
fire protection facilities, school sites, and grounds and other public and private facilities and
improvements,
WHEREAS, the revised application provides additional information in order for the Planning
Commission and Commissioners to datermine if the proposed subdivision conforms to the General
Purpose of the Comprehensive Plan, and if public use and interest will apparently be served by the
proposal.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RE50LVED, that the Board of County Commissioners for Grant
County, Washington adopt by this Resolution new application forms for Preliminary Subdivision
Requests.
