WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County have been advised by
the Grant County Planning Commission that an open record public hearing was conducted on October 7,
1998 on the matter of combining Lots 5 and 16, Division 2 of Marine View Heights into (1) lot (0,574
acres in size). The subject site is located in a portion of the East Half of Section 18, Township 17 north,
Range 28 East Willamette Meridian, Grant County, Washington;
WHEREAS, the Grant County Planning Commission made a recommendation to
approve this proposed plat alteration;
WHEREAS, the Grant County Board of Commissioners held a closed record public
meeting on November 2, 1998;
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have made a decision to uphold the
recommendation to approve the proposed plat alteration request;
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have found that the proposal is
consistent with the Grant County Comprehensive Plan;
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have found that the public use and
interest will apparently be served by the plat alteration;
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have found that the proposal will not
adversely effect the health, safety, and general welfare of the public in the vicinity of the proposal;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners
for Grant County, Washington approve by this Resolution, a plat alteration of combining Lots 5 and 16,
Division 2 of Marine View Heights into (1) one lot (0.574 acres in size). The subject site is located in a
portion of the East Half of Section 18, Township 17 North, Range 28 East Willamette Meridian, Grant
County, Washington,

WASHINGTON.
CONDITIONS:
The following are conditions of approval, which were used in the Grant County Board of County
Commissioner's closed record public meeting to approve the proposed Plat Alteration.
1. Development shall be in compliance with the Growth Management Act, The County-Wide Planning
Policies, The Washington State Environmental Policy Act, the Grant County Comprehensive Plan, the
Gran County Zoning Or�c inance, and�l applic�a -le lo�, sta� federal regulations, ru mgs or
requirements.
2. Development shall comply with all applicable requirements of the Grant County Fire Marshal
including but not limited to the Uniform Building Code and Uniform Fire Code.
3. Development shall comply with all improvements and restrictions required by the Grant County Public
Works Department.
4. Developer shall comply with all requirements deemed necessary by the Grant County Health District,
the Washington State Department of Health, and the Washington State Department of Ecology
regarding domestic water supply, sewage systems and storm water control and treatment including, but
not limited to: RCW 90,48.080 Discharge of Polluting Water Prohibited; WAC 173-201, Surface
Water Standards; WAC 173-201A, Ground Water Quality Standards and WAC 246-272, On-Site
Sewage Systems.
5. If any Native American Grave site(s) or archaeological/cultural resources (Indian Artifacts) are found
all construction activity shall stop and the owner/developer shall immediately notify the Colville
Confederated Tribes and the Washington State Office of Archaeology and Historic Preservation.
6. Any outstanding assessments shall be equitably divided and levied against the remaining lots, parcels,
tracts, or be levied equitably on the lots resulting from the alteration.
