MANAGEMENT FUND DISPQSAL
FEE SCi�E�ULE RevEsing Resolutian
No. 94-126-CC
VifHEREAS, pursuan#to an interlocal Agreemer�t dated November 15, 1974,
Grant C�unty was designated the[ead agency tr�provide, �perate,and maintain a County-
wide SoEid Waste Dispasai System; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant ta said agreemen#, Grant County acquired a number
af sanitary landfilis, afiher faci(ities, equipm�nf and supplies, alf of which belong to Grar�t
County, in order ta esfiablish the Sofid Waste DisposaE System; and,
WHEREA�, the funds required to aperate the Grant Courtty Solid Waste
Disposal System should be derived from dispasa!fees c�llected from users�f the system;
and,
WHEREAS, due to the increasing costs for operation c�f the disposa[ sites
and meeting the requirements of the Washington State Department of Ecology has created
a need to ir�crease the disposal fe�s.
NC�W, THEREFtJRE, BE IT RESC�I.VED by the Board of Caunty
Commissioners of Grant County, Washington, that effective December 3�, 1999� the#�es
f�r dispasa! privifeges at Gran� County operated Salid Waste Qispasal facilities shall be
as shawn on EXHIBIT"Au attached.
BE IT FURTHER RESC}LVED, that the County reserves the right ta refus�
to accept any Solid Waste brought ta any County dispasa! facility which is classified as
dangeraus or hazardous by the Fed�ra! Environmental Protectian Agency or any wastes
brought ta a dropbax facility which exceeds the County's handling capabilifiy either due to
volume or weight,
