In speaking with legal, I understand more about why it is necessary for the departments to put a value on the items to be surplus'd. RCW says we don't need to hold a public hearing if the item is under$2500. So currently, we are surpiusing 3 vehicles for GrIS. What is your estimated value of each vehicle? If each vehicle (not combined) is under the$2500 value, we wouldn't need a public hearing.
