RESOLUTION APPROVING A ZONE
CHANGE FROM GENERAL COMNIERCIAL
TO RESIDENTIAL TWO

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissiouers of Grant Cotuity have been advised by
the Grznt County Planning Comnussion that a public l�earing was couducted on Jtme 2, 1999 on the matter
of cl�uiging the zoning from "G-C (General Coimnercial)° to "R-2 (Residential Two)" on the West'/z of
Lot 7, Block 6, Lakeview Park Plat, in � Portion of Section 35, Township 22 North, Range 26 East, W.M.,
Grant Coun .ty, Wastungton, and;
WI�REAS, t1�e Board of County Commissioners of Grant County have been advised by
the Grant County Planning Deparhnent that the Gr�nt County Plaiuiing Commission made a
recommendation to lpprove on s�id m�tter, aud;
Wf-IEREAS, the Board of Coun .ty Commissioners of Graut Coiuity having received a
copy of the verbatim transcript of the Open Record Plaiuiing Comitussiou Public Hearing and application
materials, have given notice this matter would be considered at.1 closed record public meeting on June 2,
1999, and;
WHEREAS, the Board of Coun .ty Couuuissioners of Grant Cowity have made a decision
to approve the rezone request from Gener�l Coulmercial to Residential Two, and;
WI-�REAS, tl�e Board of Coun .ty Conunissioners have found that the proposal does not
fall within a Cridcal Area as defined by die Grvit Couuty Resource Lands vid Critical Areas Development

proposal is consistent with the Gr��nt Cow�ty Comprehensive Plan and stu-rounding uses, �uid;
WIIEREAS, the Bo1rd of County Commissioners of Grant County have found thlt a
Determination of Non-Signi�cuice was issued for tlus proposal on M�y 6, 1999 uid the requirements of
the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) have been met, and;
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have found tlilt tlie proponeiit has
presented sufficient. evidence that there is st�fficient need in the lrea for the types of uses 111owed under the
Residential Two Zone, �u�d;

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners h�ve found tl�at the proponent lias
presented sufficient evidence that changed circumstances in tl�e area of the subject property warrant a
rezone of the property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, tl�at the Board of CotYnty Commissioners of
Gr1nt County, Wastungton do by this resolution approve tl�e zone change request from General
Commercial to Residential Two on the following described property.
The West Yz of Lot 7, Block 6, Lakeview Park Plat, in � Portion of Section 35, Townslup 22 North, R�nge
26 East, W,M., Grant County, W�shington, and;
