Week of November 13, 2000
The Grant County Commissioners session was called to order at 9:00
a.m. by Chairman Deborah Moore. All of the Commissioners were in
attendance with the Clerk of the Board.
The Commissioners read and approved the minutes of the preceding
session as written.
;�.� ;..�The Commissioners approved the request by the Grant County
Tour�sm Comrnission for a budget extension for a reprint of the Grant
County DAYtour Guide.
i�c►� S� The Commissioners approved ihe request by the Washington State
Cooperative Extension Office for out of state travel for Gary Pelter to attend
the International Symposium for the Edible Alliaceae Conference.
���� �� The Commissioners approved the starting salary o� Sheri' L. Austir of
the Juvenile Probation Department.
j�C�.�� z� The Commissioners approved the request by the Sheriff's Office to
purchase a Maratrac mobile radio for the Work Release Center from Law
and Justice Funds.
���� �.9 The Commissioners approved the starting salary of Brian Adams of
the Juvenile Probation Department.
�.�����The Commissioners approved the salary increase of Diana L. Wavra
of the Juvenile Probation Department �o $4,850.92 per month.
���o� i The Commissioners received a Summons and Complaint from Patrick
Acres. The matter was referred to the Prosecuting Attorney for handling.
r�4f�-G$�The Commissioners received a letter of complaint from Craig S.
Maxwell. The matter was referred to the Prosecuting Attorney for handling.
�;-�.��� A motion was made by Commissioner A1lison, seconded by
Commissioner Snead that Resolution Number 2000-142-CC giving notice
that �he preliminary budget of Grant County for the fiscal year of 2001 will
be on file in the Auditors Office.
As there was no further business to come before the Board the session
was continued until November 14, 2000.

The session was continued at 9:00 a.m. with all of the Commissioners
in at�endance with the Clerk of the Board.
,�;���� The Commissic�ners rnet with the Public Works Director regarding
WSD(�E PLP Letter, Supplemental Agreement `8' SE, Franchise
Appl�cation, �heelchair Access-Larson �ubdivisian, Dra�t A�nnual Raad
Program/Budgets, Personnel.
�������The Commissioners signed the Public Works Claims Fund voucher
approval #10-1 through #10-196 zn th� total amount a�$2,075,068.58.
�<-;'-� �"A.s of this date the Board by a majority vate does apprave fc�r payment
those vouchers included 'zn the Iist filed in the Auditors Off'zce 11/13/2000 in
the ioial amount of $539,785.35.
�.���..� �'� A mc�iian was made by �ommissioner A1lison, seconded by
Commzssioner Snead ihat Resolution Number 2000-143-CC lowering the
assessment rate for Hillcrest Lighiing District for ihe year 2001 be passed.
The motion carried.

The moiion carried.
,���� �`� The Commissioners received a letter from Richard Rumburg. The
mattex was referred to the Prosecuting A.ttorney for handl'zng.
���� � The Cr�mmissioners approved the salary increase Qf Gary Stane of the
Assessors C}�ce ta $2,SS� per month effective November l, 2000.
As there was no further business to came before the Board the sessian
was adjourned until Nc�vember 20, 2�Q0.
