GRANT COUNTY, WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NUMBER
A RESOLUTION relating to a supplemental extension in the 2000 budget of the
GRANT CO. P.A.R.C. FUND # 115, DEPT. # 157
due to unanticipated state and/or federal funds.
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the Board of Grant Commissioners
that unanticipated state and /or federal funds have been made available for the 2000 budget
of the GRANT CO. P.A.R.C. FUND # 115, DEPT. # 157
in the amount of $ 150,000 and

WHEREAS, RCW 36.40.100 authorizes supplemental appropriations from unanticipated,
state and/or federal funds after publications of notice of the time and date of a pnblic hearing at which
the supplemental appropriations resolution will be adopted, and the amount of the appropriation,
once each week, for two consecutive weeks prior to such public hearing in the official newspaper
of the county; and
WHEREAS, publication of the requisite legal notice was made in the Daily Heral
newspaper of Grant County on 8/25&9/1/00 and said public hearing was held
in the Grant County Commissioners' Office, Grant County Courthouse, Ephrata, Washington;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COIVINIISSIONERS of
GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that t�e 2000 (year)budget of the
GRANT CO. P.A.R.C. FUND # ll5, DEPT. # 157
supplemented and extended in the sum of $_150,000 from
unanticipated state and/or federal funds according to the following schedule of categories and items:

Grant Couniy PARC received $150,00o for the second year of the State Incentive Gran�h
(SIG). The SIG is a three-year research project from the Governor's office �o provide Best
Practice prevention services to youfh and their parents. Grant County is providing after
school and summer school programs in four �chool dist�ict� with the fund� awarded. The
school districts are Soap Lake, Warden, Quincy and Grand Coulee.
We are respectfully requesting your consideration to approve a budget extension in the
amount of $1,50,00o to PARC's 200o budget for year two funding of the SIG.
