IN THE MATTER OF TRANSFERING RESOLUTION NO. 2007- /%'�-CC
JURISDICTION OF PORTIONS OF
FOUR (4) ROADS FROM THE CITY OF JURISDICTION TRANSFER
MOSES LAKE TO GRANT COUNTY,
AND OF TRANSFERING JURISDICITION
OF A PORTION OF A ROAD 1N GRANT
COUNTY, TO THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE.
Whereas, in accordance with RCW 39.33.010, Grant County, a political
subdivision of the State of Washington, acting through its Board of Commissioners,
recognizes the benefits of transferring jurisdiction of certain portions of four roads in the
Moses Lake area as described below and declares its intentions to accept transfer of title
or control of Right-of-Way easements of real property from the City of Moses Lake, a
municipal corporation of the State of Washington.
LEGAL DISCRIPTION:
Section 1. The municipal boundaries of the City of Moses Lake are adjusted to
disincorporate the following property upon the adoption of a similar ordinance or
resolution by the Grant County Commissioners. The City of Moses Lake shall convey
its interest in the following properties and the properties shall be fully excluded from
the corporate limits of the City of Moses Lake and shall be maintained as right-of-way
by Grant County, Washington.
PARCEL 1(Broad Street, Market Street, Roberts Place): That portion of Section 9,
Township 19 North, Range 28 East W. M., City of Moses Lake, Grant County,
Washington, described as follows:
Beginning at the southeast corner of the Loudenback Broadview Tracts, as recorded in
Volume 4, page 53, Grant County Plat records, and the west boundary of Roberts Place,
thence North 00° 34'S0" East. 765.82 feet, along the west boundary of Roberts
Place to the centerline of Broad Street, and the east-west mid-section line of Section 9,
Township 19 North, Range 28 East W.M., thence South 89° 25'08" East, 830.76
feet along said centerline; thence South 00° 34'S2" West, 30.00 feet, to the south
boundary of Broad Street; thence North 89° 25'08" West, 770.76 feet, to the east
boundary of Roberts Place' thence south 00° 34'S0" West 705.74 feet, along said
east boundary to the north boundary of Market street; thence South 89° 35'30"
East, 1160.47 feet, along said north boundary; thence South 00° 25'36" West,
30.00 feet; thence North 89° 35'30" West, 1220.55 feet to the point of beginning.
PARCEL 2(Broad Street): That portion of the Southeast '/4 of Section 9. Township 19
North, Range 28 East W.M., City of Moses Lake, Grant County, Washington, Described
as follows:
Commencing at the southwest corner of Lot 17, Barney Plat, per Grant County Auditor
plat records, book 11, page 58; thence South 00° 25'31" West, 30.00, along the
west line of said plat to the centerline of Broad Street and the point of beginning; thence
continuing South 00° 25'31" West, 30.00 feet; thence south 89° 25'08" East, 37.27
feet to the northwest corner of Lot 7, Barney Plat; thence North 00° 25'36" East. 30.00
feet, along the west line of said plat to the centerline of Broad Street: thence North 89°
25'08" West, 37.27 feet, along said centerline to the point of beginning.
PARCEL 3(Stratford Road): That portion of the Southeast'/a of Section 10, Township
19 North, Range 28 East W.M., City of Moses Lake, Grant County, Washington,
described as follows:
The west half of the Stratford Road right-of-way lying within the Central Washington
railroad right-of-way.

Section 2. The Municipal boundaries of the City of Moses Lake are adjusted to
incorporate the following property upon the adoption of a similar ordinance by the
Grant County Commissioners. Grant County shall convey its interest in the following
properties and the properties shall be fully included in the corporate limits of the
City of Moses Lake and shall be maintained as right-of-way by the City of Moses Lake,
Washington:
PARCEL 1(Road F NE unimproved): That portion of the East %2 of Section 25,
Township 19 North, Range 27 East W.M., Grant County, Washington, described
as follows:
The east 30.00 feet in the South %2, and in the Southeast'/4, Northeast'/4, Section 25,
Township 19 North, Range 27 East W.M., lying north of the Interstate 90 right-of-way.

WHEREAS, Grant County Public Works and the City of Moses Lake have
previously agreed to work towards the transfer of jurisdiction of portions of said roads,
and
WHEREAS, the County Engineer recommends the Grant County Board of
Commissioners proceed with the jurisdiction transfer as mutually agreed, per 39.33.010,
and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Grant County Board
of Commissioners accept jurisdiction of portions of Broad St., Market St., Roberts Place
and Stratford Road as described above from the City of Moses Lake and transfer
jurisdiction of a portion of Rd F NE (unimproved) as described above to the City of
Moses Lake to become effective upon the date the City of Moses Lake executes a
resolution, conveying jurisdiction of said roads.

THE CfTY COUNCIL OF THE C1TY OF MOSES LAKE, WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 9. The municipal boundaries of the City of Moses Lake are adjusted to disincorparate the
following property upon the adoption of a similar ordinance or resolution by fhe Granf County
Commissioners. The Ci#y of Moses Lake shall convey its interest�in fhe following propetties and
ihe properties shail be fully excluded from the corporate fimits of the City of Moses Lake and shall

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO 2356 ADJUSTING
CORPORATE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE PURSUANT
TO RCW 35A.21.210
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE, WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 2356 is amended as follows:
The municipal boundaries of the City of Moses Lake are adjusted as follows

Commissioners. The City of Moses Lake shall convey its interest in the following properties and
the proper�ies shall be fuliy excluded from the corporate limits of the City of Moses Lake and shall
be maintained as right-of-way by Grant County, Washington:
