MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS
The Commissioners signed a Proclamation of Local Emergency for the Barlcer Canyon wildfire which
began on September 9, 2oi2 which threatened the City of Grand Coulee.
As of this date, the Boaxd, by a majority vote, does approve for payment those vouchers certified by the
auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.080, and those expense reimbursement claims certified by the
auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.090, in the amounts of $62o,i91.o6, $i55�895•07, and
$685�254•27� as recorded on a listing and rnade available to the Board.
The Commissioners approved and signed the Grant Public Worlcs County Payroll Salary Fund for
September �, zoi2.
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1x. 2oi2:
9:0o a.m. - 9:2o a.m. Open Record Public Hearing, Thomas Hamerly Open Space
Classification
The Commissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing to consider an application for
Classification as Open Space Land for Current Use Assessment under Chapter 84.34 RCW from
Thomas Hamerly. The property is located at i97o6 SW Rd 6, Quincy Rural (Parcel #15048�000).
Mr. Hamerly would like to change the land classification for his parcel from Open Space
Agriculture to Open Space Conservation.

Commissioner Carter moved to close the public comment portion of the hearing. Commissioner
Swartz seconded and the motion passed unanimously. Commissioner Swartz moved to approve
the recommendation of the Assessor's Office to change the parcel to Open Space Conservation as
presented and sign the Open Space Taxation Agreement. Commissioner Carter seconded and the
motion passed unanimously. The hearing adjourned. (Approved)
