Home My WebLink AboutResolution 12-030-CC i BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS Grant County,Washington � RESOLUTION DECLARING PEItSONAL RESOLUTION No. 12- ��-CC PROPEItTY SURI'I.US FOR DISPOSITION TO GOVERNMENTAL AGENCY WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 36.34.010, the Grant County Board of County Commissioners has the authority to decide whether real or personal property owned by the county is surplus to the needs of the county; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the RCW 36.34.130, the Grant County Board of County Commissioners may dispose of county property to another governmental agency upon such terms as may be agreed upon and for such consideration as may be deemed by the Board of County Commissioners to be adequate; and WHEREAS, the Grant County Sheriff's Office is currently the owner of one 1992 GMC Yukon, vehicle identification number (VIN) 1GKEK18K1NJ715564. The Grant County Sheriff's Office has determined that the benefit of owning such vehicle is now exceeded by vehicle maintenance, and that the vehicle is no longer suitable to the needs of the Grant County Sheriff's Office; and WHEREAS,the Grant County Sheriff's Office is the Parent Agency of the Grant County Reserve Deputy Program; and WHEREAS, the Grant County Sheriff's Office has requested that the Grant County Board of County Commissioners declare such 1992 GMC Yukon to be surplus to the needs of � the county; and WHEREAS, subsequent to the declaration of such 1992 GMC Yukon, as surplus property, it is the desire of the Grant County Sheriff's Office that ownership of the 1992 GMC Yukon be conveyed to another governmental agency, the Grant County Reserve Deputy Program, for use and/or other disposition at the discretion of the Program.
