The Grant County Commissioners session began at 8:3o a.m. with all Commissioners in attendance.

9:0o a.m. — 9:5o a.m. J Stricl�ler, ASC Update and MISC BOCC Action
A motion was made by Commissioner Swartz, seconded by Commissioner Carter, to approve items 1, 2, 3,
4, and 9 on the ASC Agenda as presented below. Item 5 and 6 were combined into one document, item �
did not require signature, and item 8 did not arrive for signature. The motion passed unanimously.
i. Possible vouchers for Interfund Communications, insurance, and/or
grant administration. (Approved)
2. Contract Amendment No. 06 to Department of Social and Health
Services (DSHS) Contract No. 0963-68og2, amending the maximum
contract amount. Contract is with Grant County, by and through
Grant Integrated Services' Prevention and Recovery Center.

3. Worlung Agreement by and between Grant County and Teamsters
Local Union No. �60, Teamsters, Food Processing Employees, Public
Employees, Warehousemen and Helpers —(a) Grant County Sheriff's

8. Anticipating: Special Counsel Contract between Grant County and
Wrenn Law Group, PLLC (Leslie Nellermoe) for the provision of legal
assistance and to render legal advice relative to enviranmental,
Superfund Site and Landfill matters. Term is January i, 2012
through December 3i, 2oi2. (Did not arrave for signature)
9. Amendment 1 to SMA Grant G1200053 between the State of
Washington Department of Ecology and Grant County for the
Comprehensive Shoreline Master Program Update. The purpose is
to revise the budget structure to combine year 1 and year 2 for
greater flexibility for the County. (Approved)

Open Record Public Hearing, Museum Insurance Recovery Budget
Extension
The Commissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing to consider a budget extension request
for the Grant County Museum Insurance Replacement Items Fund / Insurance Recovery in the
amount of $i25,649.6g for the building that was destroyed in a fire. Commissioner Carter moved
to close the public comment portion of the hearing. Commissioner Swartz seconded and the
motion passed unanimously. Commissioner Swartz moved to approve the budget extension as
presented. Commissioner seconded Carter and the motion passed unanimously. The hearing
adjourned. (Resolution No. i2-o2�-CC)
MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS
The Commissioners approved and signed the Grant Public Works County Payroll Salary Fund for Apri16,
2012.
The Cornmissioners approved and signed the Grant County Payroll Authorization form for the April Yo,
2oi2 payroll.
As of this date, the Board, by a majority vote, does approve for payment those vouchers certified by the
auditing officer as required by RCW 4z.24.o80, and those expense reimbursement claims certified by the
auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.090, in the amounts of $3.08, and $700,522.i6, as recorded on
a listing and made available to the Board.

from the Clerk's Office for an exception to the hiring freeze for one
Accounting Deputy position due to a recent resignation. The

SHERIFF'S OFFICE
io. Request to purchase six (6) desktop computers (g new and 3
replacements) as approved in their 2oY2 Capital Outlay budget. The
amount will not exceed $�,0�2.00. (Approved)
i1. Qty. 10 for Sheriff's Staff— Tasers with cartridges and DPM Units
from Pro Force Law Enforcement, the regional distributor for Taser
International in the amount not to exceed $12,050.00. This is a sole
