COMMISSIONERS' NOVEMBER i6, 2ooy MINUTES Page 2 of 5 J STRICKI.,ER, ASC UPDATE AND MISC BOCC ACTION A motion was made by Commissioner Swartz, seconded by Commissioner Stevens, to approve items 1 through 3 on the ASC Agenda. The motion passed unanimously. COMMISSIONERS WORK SESSION A motion was made by Commissioner Stevens, seconded by Commissioner Swartz, to approve items i and 2 on the Commissioners Work Session agenda. A public hearing was scheduled for the budget extension for December 14, 2009 at 9:3o am. The motion passed unanimously. OPEN RECORD PUBLIC HEARING. SHERIFF'S OFFICE BUDGET EXTENSION The Commissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing regarding the following budget extension request: x. Sheriff's Office Fund #001, Department #�i4 in the amount of $1o2,62g.00 for the hiring of one technical services technician using U. S. Department of Justice ARRA grant funds. Commissioner Swartz moved to close the public comment portion of this hearing. Commissioner Stevens seconded and the motion passed unanirnously. Commissioner Swartz moved to approve the budget extensions as presented. Commissioner Stevens seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The hearing adjourned. (Resolution No. o9-ioo-CC) MISCELLAIVEOUS ITEMS The Commissioners approved the request of the Juvenile Court Administrator to purchase a 32" LCD Monitor in the amount of $5i5.00. This monitor is for their detention facility control room. As of this date the Board by a majority vote does approve for payment those vouchers as presented by the Grant County Health District: Payroll Vouchers No. 1-8, and General Fund Vouchers No. 9— 67, in the amount of $i6�,443•13, as recorded on a listing and made available to the Board. As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was continued until November i7, 2009. CONSENT AGENDA Commissioner Stevens moved to approve the Consent Agenda, Commissioner Swartz seconded and the motion passed unanimously, as presented below: COMMISSIONERS' OFFICE: Commissioners Office Vouchers HUMAN RESOURCES Personnel Action Request Recommendation for New Hope to add an On-call Relieve Advocate position. The Director recommends approval. GRANT INTEGRATED SERVICES North Central Washington Regional SupporC Network (NCWRSN) and Grant County Community Mental Health Services Medicaid Agreement No. �ooiGRANT effective October 1, 2oog to SeptemUer 30, 2oii. The purpose of the agreement is to operate a Prepaid Inpatient Health Plan (PIHP) to provide medically necessary mental health services to enrollees. EMER GENCY Mfl NAGEMENT Out of state travel request for Sandi Duffey to assist with a national evaluation of the Pre-Disaster Mitigation grant program application review in Arlington, VA from January io-16, 2oio. COMMISSIONERS' NOVEMBER 16, 2009 MINUTES Page 4 of 5 MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS As of this date, the Board, by a majority vote, does approve for payment those vouchers certified by the auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.080, and those expense reimbursement claims certified by the auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.090, in the amounts of $21,679.��, $g6.00, $3�462•55, $10,846.68, and $393�776.98, as recorded on a listing and made available to the Board. A motion was made by Commissioner Swartz, seconded by Commissioner Stevens, to appoint Dave Matney as the County Coroner effective 12:oi am on December 7, 2oog. The motion passed unanimously. As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was continued until November 2g, 2009. Only one bid was received in the arnount of $6,6�2.0o from Cost Less Carpet. This bid was turned over to the Facilities Department for review and recommendation. THURSDAY.
