4. Budget �xtension request from the Coroners Office to purchase a
canopy for their vehicle. After receiving quotes, the recommendation
is to purchase �the canopy from Pioneer Muffler in the amount of

and Swartz in attendance with the Clerk of the Board. Commissioner Carter was out and excused.

The Commissioners approved and signed items 1 through 7 as listed above.
COMMISSIONERS WORK SESSION
The Commissioners approved and signed items 1 through 4 as listed above and set the public hearing for
April i4, 2009 at 9:3o am.
The Commissioners approved item 5 as listed above.
The Commissioners approved the recommendation from the Facilities and Maintenance Director to
award the bid for the Hucle Fuller Building Septic System at the Fairgrounds to Advanced Excavation Inc,
in the amount of $6,333•73•
MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS
The Commissioner approved and signed a Interlocal Cooperative Agreement between Grant County and
Stevens County to allow Grant County to purchase a Terra Scan system or system software using the
Request for Proposal No. ATS-2oo81et by Stevens County on May 2�, 2008 for the same purpose.
The Commissioners signed the Grant County Payroll Pick-Up Sheet for March io, 2009.
As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was continued until March i7,
2009.

The Commissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing regarding the following budget requests:

First quarter REET Fund #126, Department #168 in the amount of $82,000.0o to
purchase hardware for the Assessor's Office.
Assessors Office Fund o01, Department #107 in the amount of $95,000.0o to purchase
software for the Assessor's Office.
Technology Services Fund #5oi, Department #i79 in the amount of $6,1,0.0o to
receive a payment from the Clerk's Office to purchase 6 computer systems.
Sheriff's Office Fund #ooi, Department #ii4 in the amount of $2,250.0o to receive a
grant from State Farm Insurance that will allow one motor deputy to attend collision
reconstruction training.
Sheriff's Office Fund #ooi, Department #ii4 in the amount of $�2,ogo.00 to fund a
School Resource Officer for the Wahluke School District. These funds will be
reimbursed by the School District.
The total budget extension is in the amount of $257�450.00.
Commissioner Swartz moved to close public comment portion of the hearing,
Commissioner Stevens seconded and the motion passed with 2 Commissioners in attendance.
Commissioner Swartz moved to adopt the budget extension as presented, Commissioner Stevens
seconded and the motion passed with 2 Commissioners in attendance. The hearing adjourned.

Personnel Action Request for the salary, wage, and/or position changes for Nathaniel E. Bailey
and Karen A. Horowitz, Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
Personnel Action Request Recommendation for Grant Mental Healthcare to provide�the
Outstation Manager, Kris Davis, a$1,50o.00/month stipend retroactive to February i, 2009 for
filing in temporarily as the Clinical Manager while retaining her usual duties as Outstation
Manager.
ASSESSOR'S OFFICE
1Zesolution No. 09-o22-CC relating to the Grant County Levies for 2009 Taxes.
MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS
The Commissioners signed the Public Works Claims Fund Voucher Approval No. og-i through No. 03-35
in the total amount of $84,568.09, as recorded on a listing and made available to the Board.
