The Commissioners approved and signed a Notice of Decision: Findings, Conclusions and Final Decision
of the Grant County Board of County Commissioners regarding the appeal of Grant County Planning
Department denial of request for a shoreline master program permit exemption for A1 Buckingham.
As there were no further items before the Board the session was continued to October 14, 2008.

SHERIFF'S OFFICE
Resolution No. 08-o89-CC relating to an increase to the Sheriff's Investigation Revolving
Fund # ii4 by $4,000.0o to a new total amount of $12,000.00,
CLOSED RECORD PUBLIC HEARING. WHISPERING PLAINS ESTATES PRELIMINARY
PLAT
The Commissioners held a Closed Record Public Hearing to consider a subdivision of �84•95-acre parcel
in the Rural Residential-1 Zone of Grant County. If approved subdivision will create nineteen (i9) lots:
seventeen (i�) residential lots ranging in size from i.o5 to 1.9i acres, one (i) 4.15-acre parcel on the south
of the proposal designated for an open space, and one (1) 49•59-acre lot. The 49•59-acre parcel is open
space as part of clustering and is designated for wildlife open space. The location is all of lot # i,
Whispering Plains estates Short Plat, in a portion of the SW quarter of S 28, T 21 N, R 24 E, W M(Parcel
# 31-2779-000).
Commissioner Allison moved to uphold the Planning Commission recommendation and approve the
application as presented, recognizing the 5 Conditions of Approval and 11 Findings of Fact.
Commissioner Carter seconded and the motion passed with 2 Commissioners in attendance. The hearing
adjourned. (Resolution No. 08-o9o-CC)
MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS
The Vice-Chair was authorized to sign the Special Occasion License application for Habitat for Humanity
of Grater Moses Lake, 601 S Pioneer Way, Ste F, Moses Lake, WA 98837, from the Washington State
Liquor Control Board.
As of this date, the Board, by a majority vote, does approve for payment those vouchers certified by the
auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.080, and those expense reimbursement claims certified by the
auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.090, in the amount of $1,933,006.28, as recorded on a listing
and made available to the Board.
The Commissioners signed the Public Works Claims Fund Voucher Approval No.10-i through No, io-154
in the total amount of $2,402�345•42 as recorded on a listing and made available to the Board.
As there were no further items to come before the Board the session was continued until October 20,
2008.
