The Commissioners approved and signed items i through 3 as listed above. The public hearing was set for

OPEN RECORD PUBLIC HEARING, INTERIM OFFICIAL CONTROLS FOR LAMIRDS
The Commissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing to re-adopt and extend Interim Ordinance o8-
oi3-CC which complies with the orders and directives of the Eastern Washington Growth Management
Hearings Board, Staff requests that the Board approve this Ordinance for another 6 months.
Commissioner Carter moved to close the public comment portion of the hearing, Commissioner Stevens
seconded and the motion passed with 2 Commissioners in attendance. Commissioner Carter moved to
approve the Ordinance as presented, Commissioner Stevens seconded and the motion passed with 2
Commissioners in attendance. The hearing adjourned. (Ordinance No. o�-o6g-CC)

Personnel Action Request Recommendation for Grant Mental Healthcare to change their Office
Manager's exemption status from Non-Exempt to Exempt. There is no salary change to this
position.
Personnel Action Request for the salary, wage, and/or position changes for Denise Redding,
Grant Mental Healthcare.
ASSESSOR'S OFFICE
Geographic Information Interlocal Agreement between Grant County and Grant County Fire
District #g; and Carol Dawson, for shared Geographical Information System (GIS) services.

Request for Leave without Pay from Randie Ponozzo in the amount of �.5 hours.

Community Mobilization Program Agreement IIA No. Mo8-66ioo-ii3A, Amendment A, between
Grant County, Grant County Prevention and Recovery Center (PARC), and the Washington S�ate
Department of Community, Trade and Economic Development to increase funds provided to
PARC by providing $65�839•0o for reimbursement of program costs during the second year of the
agreement, raising the contract amount to $121,62i.00; and signature authorization form.
SHERIFF'S OFFICE
Nonhighway and Off-road Vehicle Activities (NOVA) Authorizing Resolution authorizing
applications for funding assistance for a Nonhighway and Off-Road Vehicle Activities (NOVA)
program project to the Recreation and Conservation Office (RCO).
MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS
The Commissioners approved the request from the Department of Community Development Director to
purchase 9 nineteen inch LCD flat panel monitors in the amount of $1435•5o from Staples.
As of this date, the Board, by a majority vote, does approve for payment those vouchers certified by the
auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.080, and those expense reimbursement claims certified by the
auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.090, in the amount of $i,gi8,483.28, as recorded on a listing
and made available to the Board.
The Commissioners signed the Public Works Claims Fund Voucher Approval No. o8-i through No. o8-�i in the
total amount of $1,843,432.69, as recorded on a listing and made available to the Board.
The Commissioners approved a budget extension request from the Department of Emergency Management in
the amount of $6,625.0o to receive a grant from the US Department of Energy and purchase 4o Tone Alert
Radios. The hearing was set for September 16, 2008 at g:3o am.
The Commissioners approved a request from the Department of Emergency Management to purchase Ham
Radio Equipment for the Emergency Operations Center in the amount of $8,�0�.55 using Homeland Security
Gran� funds dedicated to the FFYo6 Project #068.
The Commissioners signed the Public Works Payroll Journal for August, 2008.
