Bids were received from CHS, Moses Lalce; CHS, Quincy; Inland Oil and Propane; and Coleman Oil. A motion was made by Commissioner AlYison, seconded by Cornmissioner Carter, to turn over the bids to Public Works for review and recommendation. The motion passed with 2 Commissioners in attendance. The Commissioners signed the Professional Services Contract between Grant County and Taylor Consulting Group (TCG) to assist the County with the grant awarded by the Washington State Department of Community, Trade and Economic Development for the purposes of streamlining the existing Unified Development Code, updating the standards and regulations within the UDC to align more closely with the unique needs of Grant County, and to work with the City of Ephrata to establish joint development regulations for the Urban Growth Area associated with the City. The Commissioners signed the Professional Services Agreement for the Supervising Public Defender in the courts of Grant County, between Grant County and Alan White. The Commissioners appointed Cindy Taylor to the Health Insurance Committee (District Court Representative). The Commissioners appointed Bob Adler to the Hanford Advisory Board in an alternate position. The Commissioners appointed Richard Leitz to the Hanford Advisory Board. The Commissioners approved a Request for out of state travel for Karen Lewis to attend the Tulare Farm Show in Visalia, California on February 13-1g, 2008. The Commissioners approved a Request for out of state travel for Karen Lewis to participate in fruit research meetings in Pennsylavia on March 2— 6, 2008, This travel will be covered through the Tree Fruit Research Commission.
