The Cornmissioners denied the request of the Sheriff's Mounted Posse as listed above due to reduced
revenue challenges.
The Commissioners approved item 2 as listed above.
MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS
The Chair of the Board was authorized to sign the Contractor Intalce form from the Washington State
Department of Social and Health Services for Directions in Community Living.
The Commissioners approved the recommendation of the Department of Community Development
Director to adopt rules allowing individuals or groups to subdivide property into minimum five acre tracts
including clustering provisions and allowing the individual lot owners to be ultimately responsible for
their own adequate, potable water supply; and approve several current plat applications using the exempt
well status as a rneans of supplying potable water.
As of this date, the Board, by a majority vote, does approve for payment those vouchers certified by the
auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.080, and those expense reimbursement claims certified by the
auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.090, in the amounts of $g6�,2�0.5o and $335�6i8.86, as
recorded on a listing and made available to the Board.
As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was continued until June 10, 2008.

project (CRP o�-i5) to N.A. Degerstrom, Inc. in the amount of $1,08�,892.01.

Commissioner Carter moved to approve the Consent Agenda, Commissioner Stevens seconded and the
motion passed with 2 Commissioners in attendance, as presented below:
COMMISSIONERS' OFFICE:
Commissioners Office Vouchers One voucher from the Grant County Health District was
not approved and was tabled until further information could be received.
New application from Peter Allen Beaumont, 8684 Rd U-NW, Quincy, WA 98848-9630, from the
Washington State Liquor Control Board.
HUMAN RESO URCES
Personnel Action Request Recommendation regarding Grant Mental Healthcare's request to
change their existing Accounting Assistant position to a Payroll/Voucher Deputy position. The
Director does not recommend making this change.
Personnel Action Request Recommendation regarding the Prosecuting Attorney's Office request
to hire a temporary full-time person to take over for the position that will be vacated by Lisa
Padilla in September. The Director does not recommend making this change.

Second Amendment to the Agreement Number o8ox between North Central Washington
Regional Support Networlc and Grant County Washington amending section 12.3.5 by deleting the
service modalities, Mental Health Clubhouse, Respite Care, and Supported Employment.

Amendment #1 to the A/E — Owner Agreement for Not-to Exceed Hourly Services between The
DOH Associates Architects and Planners and Grant County changing the not-to-exceed budget to
the amount of $2,�oo,5�g.00.

Land Use Agreement between Grant County and the State of Washington, Department of Fish and
Wildlife pursuant to the authority set forth in RCW ��.i2.2io grants to Grant County temporary use of
certain WDFW controlled US Bureau of Reclamation lands within the Potholes Wildlife Area located in
Grant County for the purpose of permitting the County the use of the lands to be managed as part of the
Moses Lake Off Road Vehicle Area.

The Commissioners signed the 2008-2010 Health Services Agreement (Youth Services) between Grant
County and the Ephrata Medical Center Inc. to provide reasonable and necessary basic medical care to the
juvenile detainees of the Grant County Youth Services.
The Commissioners signed the 20o8-2oio Health Services Agreement (Grant County Jail) between Grant
County and the Ephrata Medical Center Inc. to provide reasonable and necessary basic medical care to the
inmates of the Grant County Jail and/or satellite work release facility.

The Commissioners proclaimed June i2, 2008 at Chief for a Day in honor and recognition of children.
The Commissioners signed the Public Works Claims Fund Voucher Approval No. 06-1 through No. o6-i33
in the total amount of $963,o9i.�i, as recorded on a listing and made available to the Board.
As of this date the Board by a majority vote does approve for payment those vouchers as presented by the
Grant County Health District: Payroll Vouchers No. i— 4, and General Fund Vouchers No. 5— 58, in the
amount of $1�4�599•60, as recorded on a listing and made available to the Board.
