The following bids were received: I i 1. Grant County Journal $5.75/per column inch I 2, Columbia Basin Herald $2.45/per column inch I After review and discussion, a motion was made by Commissioner Swartz, seconded by I Commissioner Carter,to award the paper of record firom July 1, 2015—June 30, 2016 to the Columbia Basin Herald in the amount of$2.45 per column inch. (Approved) 4. BOCC action on the Strategic Infrastructure Program (SIP) Advisory Committee's recommendations on the following SIP Projects: (Approved) a. SIP#2015-01, City of Mattawa, Government Road Corridor Redevelopmenf Plan for approval of the City's request for$52,000 in SIP grant funding; and b. SIP#2015-02, Grant County, Moses Lake North Dam Replacement Project for approval of the County's request fior$300,000 in SIP grant funding. 5. Grant County Payment Request#15 to Washington State Department of Commerce on Consolidated Homeless Grant (CHG) No. 14-46108-10, administered through the Grant County Housing Authority, in the amount of 32,100.22. (Approved) 6. Request from Sage-N-Sun Festival Committee to contract with Grant County regarding use of County property for the 2015 Sage N Sun Festival,which will utilize the property from June 10 through June 14th. (Approved) 7. Washington Public Agency Contract, Small Works and Consultant Rosters, between Municipal Research and Services Center(MRSC) of Washington and Grant County for hosting the County's Small Public Works Roster and Consultant Roster. Term is May 1, 2015 through May 1, 2016 in the amount of$120.00. (Approved) 8. Grant County, Washington, Policy Number 100, Intraduction. Effective date is April 15, 2015. (Approved) 9. On behalf of the Treasurer's Office,the Chief Accountant requests a budget extension in the amount of$7,200.10 for the Capital Outlay purchase of a Sharp MX-3640N Printer/Copier from Business Interiors and Equipment, Inc. Funds would come from beginning fund balance. (Approved,the public hearing was scheduled for April 28, 2015 at 9:00 a.m.) FAIRGROUNDS 8. Recommendation to appoint Jon Smith to the Fairgrounds Facility Advisory Committee. (Approved) 9. Award recommendation letter for the Request for Bid (RFB)for the HVAC system in the Commercial Building,to Mcl<instry Co. Inc. in the amount of$135,791,00. (This request as submitted is being denied. At this meeting,the Fairgrounds Manager revised his recommendation and verbally requests the bid be awarded to Pro Mechanical Services, Inc. in the amount of$102,290.00.
