Week of September 19, 2005
The Grant County Commissioners session was called to order at 9:00 a.m. with all the
Commissioners in attendance with the Clerk of the Board.
A motion was made by Commissioner Moore, seconded by Commissioner Stevens, that
Resolution No 05 -284 -CC, a resolution approving a Preliminary Plat of 71 15 -acres into
fourteen (14) lots for Robert Witte, be passed. The motion carried.
The Chair of the Board was authorized to sign an Assumption Application for Pistoresi
Distributing, Inc. from the WA State Liquor Control Board Applicant is the Odom Corporation.
As of this date, the Board, by a majority vote, does approve for payment those vouchers
certified by the auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.080, and those expense
reimbursement claims certified by the auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.090, in the
amount of $1,327,014.06, as recorded on a listing and made available to the Board.
The Commissioners approved the recommendation of the Human Resources Director for
the starting rate of pay for Tess Grant, District Court.
The Commissioners approved the salary, wage, and/or position changes as recommended
by the Human Resources Director for Mario Alvarado, PARC; Linda G. Whitaker and Terry
Cullen Hake, Superior Court, Tess L. Grant, District Court; and Barbara J. Vasquez, Board of
County Commissioners.
The Commissioners signed a County Program Agreement for DDD County Services
between Grant County Developmental Disabilities and WA State Department of Social and
Health Services for funding.
The Commissioners signed the CORRECTED August 1, 2005 session minutes.
The Chair of the Board was authorized to sign a WA State Military Department
Amendment for contract number E05-038 and E05-039 fur funding for the E911 Wireless
operations
The Commissioners approved the recommendation of the Human Resources Director that
District Court increase staffing by one (1) FTE Administrative Assistant position, implement the
Administrative Assistant job description; and approve the classification of the Administrative
Assistant position at Band 10 of the Compensation Plan.
The Commissioners approved the request of the Grant County Developmental
Disabilities Director for a budget extension in the amount of $29,242,00. The hearing was
scheduled for October 18, 2005 at 10:30 am.

As there was no further business and the Board was out to the WSAC Annual Conference
the rest of the week, the session was continued until September 26, 2005.

As there was no further business to come before the Board and Commissioners Allison
and Moore will be attending the WSAC Annual Conference for the rest of the week, therefore,
due to lack of a quorum the session was continued until September 26, 2005.
