WHEREAS, the Board ofCounty Commissioners of Grant County, Washington, has received
a petition to vacate portions of certain County roads and rights-of-way described as follows:
Legal description: The following described County road rights-of-way as shown in the Resurvey
of and Addition to Trinidad, Book 1, Page 61 of Plats, records ofthe Grant County Auditor and lying
in Section 18, Township 20 North, Range 23 East W.M.: tt Broadway Avenue from the south right-
of-way line of Third Street to the north right-of-way line of Fourth St.; '-, the 200 ft. portion of Fifth
Street lying east of the east right-of-way line of vacated Broadway Avenue; and ') the 200 ft. portion
of the Alley between Fourth St. and Fifth St. lying east of the east right-of-way line of vacated
Broadway Ave.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that consideration should
be given to vacating portions of certain County roads and rights-of-way and directs the County Road
Engineer to prepare a report on the vacation and abandonment..
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that a public hearing on the report and other
related matters shall be held in the Hearing Room of the Board of County Commissioners of Grant
County, Washington, located in the County Courthouse, Ephrata, Washington at 11:00 A.M.,
Tuesday, July 24, 2001
