Week of November 29, 2004
The Grant County Commissioners session was called to order at 9:00 a.m. with
Commissioners Allison and Snead in attendance with the deputy Clerk of the Board.
Commissioner Moore was out of town and excused.
The Commissioners approved and signed Resolution No. 04 -160 -CC relating to a
supplemental extension in the 2004 Budget of Emergency Management fund# 102.144.000.060
from a Grant Contract #03-313 awarded by Washington State Emergency Management Division
to Homeland Security Region Seven in the amount of $204,000.00.
The Commissioners approved the salary, wage, and/or position changes as recommended
by Angie Clark, human Resources Director, for Karla Storwick and Kristina Hunt, Directions in
Community Living.
The Commissioners approved the separation date of November 24, 2004 for Armentia
Tenner, PARC.
The Commissioners signed the Public Works Payroll Journal for the month of November
2004.
As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was continued
until November 30, 2004.
November 30, 2004
The Grant County Commissioners session was called to order at 9:00 a.m. with all the
Commissioners in attendance with the Deputy Clerk of the Board.
The Commissioners met in executive session for forty minutes with the Prosecuting
Attorney and the Chief Deputy Prosecuting Attorney regarding litigation.
The Chair of the Board was authorized to sign the Interlocal Agreement between Grant
County (the "County") and the Public Utility District No. 2 of Grant County (the "District") for
shared Geographical Information System (GIS) services.
The Commissioners met with Derek Pohle, PE, Director/County Engineer, Public Works
Department, regarding: Resolutions, Establishing Policy for Solid Waste Delinquent Unpaid
Balances, and Initiating CRP Number for Bridge #114, U -NE; Execution of Contracts, Bridge
#306; Public Works IMS Program; Proposed Pay Date Change; and Upgrading Credit
Application for Solid Waste.
The Commissioners approved and signed Resolution No. 2004 -143 -CC in the matter of
initiating county road projects and assigning CRP No. 04-28 to Bridge #114, U NE.

The Commissioners approved the annual leave extension request of Solid Waste
Accounts Clerk Debbie Maggard through the end of March 2005.
The Commissioners signed a contract between Grant County and Selland Construction
Inc. for the furnishing of all tools, materials, and equipment necessary to improve and complete
Bridge #306, Baird Springs Rd. NW, CRP 96-22.
As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was continued
until December 1, 2004.
December 1, 2004
The Grant County Commissioners session was called to order at 9:00 a.m. with all the
Commissioners in attendance with the Deputy Clerk of the Board.
The Commissioners approved the request from Jennifer Lane, Administrator/County CD
Coordinator, PARC, for a small photocopy machine in the amount of $4,750.00.
The Commissioners signed the Public Works Claims Fund Voucher Approval No. 11-1
through No. 11-102 in the total amount of $350,058.78 as recorded on a listing and made
available to the Board.
As of this date, the Board, by a majority vote, does approve for payment those vouchers
certified by the auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.080, and those expense
reimbursement claims certified by the auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.090, in the
amount of $192,778.27, as recorded on a listing and made available to the Board.
The Commissioners approved a budget transfer to the 2004 budget of the Building
Department fund #001, department #116 for supplies in the amount of $1,000.00.
The Commissioners signed the Final Payroll Register for the month of November, 2004.

until December 6, 2004.
