WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County have been advised by
the Grant County Planning Commission that an open record public hearing was conducted on
December 5, 2001, on the matter of creating one lot from lots 13 & 14 of Desert Aire #6 in a
portion of the Section 26; Township 14 North; Range 23 East; Willamette Meridian, Grant
County, Washington; and,
WHEREAS, the Grant County Planning Commission on December 5, 2001, made a
recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners to approve the proposed plat alteration;
and,
WHEREAS, the Grant County Board of Commissioners held a closed record public
meeting on January 8, 2002; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners made a decision to adopt the Planning
Commission's recommendation to approve the proposed plat alteration request; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners find that the proposal is consistent with
the Grant County Comprehensive Plan; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners find that the public use and interest will
apparently be served by the plat alteration; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have found that the proposal will not
adversely effect the health, safety, and general welfare of the public in the vicinity of the
proposal; and,
WHEREAS, Grant County Resolution No. 02 -1 -CC signed by the Board of County
Commissioners on or about January 8, 2002 contained Scriveners errors; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners find that the proposal has been reviewed
for Critical and Cultural Resource Areas according to the Unified Development Code Chapter
24.08 and Critical Areas Maps and not in conflict with same; and,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners for
Grant County, Washington approve by this Resolution, a plat alteration application to create one
lot from Lots 13 & 14 of Desert Aire 46 in a Portion of Section 26; Township 14 North; Range
23 East; Willamette Meridian, Grant County, Washington.
"Conditions of Approval:"
The following are conditions of approval, which were used in the Grant County Board of County
Commissioner's closed record public meeting to approve the proposed Plat Alteration:
The Proposal shall be in compliance with the Grant County Comprehensive Plan, the Grant
County Unified Development Code, the Growth Management Act, The Washington State
Environmental Policy Act, the Grant County Zoning Ordinance, the Grant County Resource
Lands and Critical Areas Development Ordinance and all applicable federal, state, and local
regulations, rulings or requirements.
2. Proposal shall comply with all requirements deemed necessary by the Grant County Health
District, the Washington State Department of Health, and the Washington State Department
of Ecology regarding domestic water supply, sewage systems and storm water control and
treatment including, but not limited to; RCW 90.48.080 Discharge of Polluting Water
Prohibited; WAC 173-201, Surface Water Standards; WAC 173-201A, Ground Water
Quality Standards; and, WAC 246-272, On -Site Sewage Systems.
3. Proposal shall comply with all requirements of the Grant County Fire Marshal and shall
comply with the Grant County Fire Flow Guidelines, the Uniform Building Code, Uniform
Fire Code and all other applicable requirements for fire protection.
4. Proposal shall comply with all requirements of the Grant County Public Works Department,
including, but not limited to the following:
A) Provide a re -plat check fee of $100.00
5. Proposal shall comply with all requirements of the Grant County Auditor including but not
limited to:
A) The name Long Replat is unacceptable. We suggest the name "Desert Aire No. 6
Replat #2."
B) There are several references to Section 28 on page 1 that should be Section 26.
C) The Auditor's certificate should be for the book of plats not surveys.
D) The Surveyor's certificate should be for plats not surveys.
E) The header for the Fire Marshall/ Building Official signature is missing Building
Official.
6. If any Native American Grave site(s) or archaeological/cultural resources (Indian Artifacts)
are found all construction activity shall stop and the owner/developer shall immediately
notify the Colville Confederated Tribes, the Grant County Planning Department, and the
Washington State Office of Archaeology and Historic Preservation.

7. Preliminary Re -plat approval shall be contingent upon conformance with all applicable land
use rules and regulations in effect as of November 5, 2001.
S. Preliminary Re -plat approval shall be consistent with recorded restrictions with Final Plat
approval of Desert Aire #6 Subdivision October 1, 1973.
9. Final plat must comply with Grant County's Unified Development Code Chapter 22.04,
Article V, "Final Subdivisions and Short Subdivisions."
10. Development shall comply with Grant County Unified Development Code 22.04.260 "Time
Limitations."
10. Grant County Resolution No. 02 -1 -CC adopted by the Board of County Commissioners on or
about January 8, 2002, is repealed to the extent that it is incompatible with this resolution.
