HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 03-023-CCBOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS GRANT COUNTY, WASHINGTON RESOLUTION NUMBER 2003 -023 -CC A RESOLUTION relating to the transfer of funds within the 2003 budget of the ECONOMIC ENHANCEMENT FUND # 113, DEPT. # 155 WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the Board of Grant Commissioners that it is necessary to transfer funds within the current budget of the above-named County Department(s) in the amounts enumerated below; and WHEREAS, there is no expenditure of funds not previously budgeted but a transfer pursuant to R.C.W. 36.40. 100 and County and State auditing procedures; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS of GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that the following transfers within the current budget are hereby made: 2003 BUDGET OF THE FROM ACCOUNT NUMBER 113.155.000 000.508.00.00.00 EXPLANATION ECONOMIC ENHANCEMENT FUND If 113, DEPT. # 155 TO AMOUNT ACCOUNT NUMBER $ 15,000 113 155.000.119 576.90 61.00 TO RE -ALLOCATE ENDING FUND BALANCE FOR UNANTICIPATED CHANGE IN APPROPRIATIONS DEPT, This resolution is in the best interest of good government and shall take effect immediately upon passage. Grant County is interested in this offer, and would very likely anticipate purchasing this property. However, your timeline is very short. It is necessary for us to contact the Assessor's office and get an up to date appraisal on the property. It is also necessary for us to contact the Sheriff s office and request their assistance in the purchase, as the funds for such a purchase would be grant related funds available only through their office.
